First Farmers has announced the promotion of Rory Mallard to the position of Senior Commercial Banking Officer. In his new role, Mallard will help lead the banks commercial teams in Davidson and Williamson Counties.
Mallard has been with First Farmers for nearly six years, most recently serving as a commercial banker. He began his career at First Farmers as the Cool Springs Branch Manager. Later, he helped plan and launch the bank’s second Cool Springs financial center at McEwen Drive.

Randy Stevens, First Farmers Chairman and CEO. “Rory is a team player and has been instrumental in the success of First Farmers expansion strategy. We look forward to his leadership as we continue to expand our commercial banking focus.”
Prior to joining First Farmers, Mallard spent six years managing the Music Row financial center for Fifth Third Bank where he was inducted into the President’s Circle for outstanding performance. Prior to Fifth Third, he was a financial advisor trainee at Morgan Stanley and a senior personal banker at Bank of America in Nashville.
A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Mallard is an active community volunteer with the United Way of Williamson County and the Williamson County Better Business Bureau.
