April 4, 2017 – First Farmers recently announced Jim Gardner will serve as the bank’s Nashville President. In his new role, Gardner will oversee the implementation of the bank’s growth strategy into the Nashville/Davidson County market. In addition, Gardner will continue to serve as a commercial lender helping to develop the bank’s commercial and real estate portfolios in Davison County.

Gardner joined First Farmers in 2015 as a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager. Prior to his time at First Farmers, he held a number of positions at Renasant Bank in Nashville, including Senior Vice President, Commercial Lender and Treasury Management Specialist. Gardner also worked in commercial lending with both the Bank of Nashville and SunTrust Bank.

A graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy and Vanderbilt University, Jim actively serves a number of organizations including the Economic Club of Nashville, Friends of the Arts at Belmont and the Hope Clinic for Women. Jim will be based out of First Farmers’ Green Hills office located at 4013 Hillsboro Circle
