
COLUMBIA, Tenn. (Jan. 26, 2021)—First Farmers and Merchants Bank—a community bank with 22 locations in seven Middle Tennessee counties—has added Joseph E. Yaroszewski as a senior credit officer.
Yaroszewski brings more than 20 years of banking experience to his new role managing the credit risk of First Farmers’ loan portfolio. He will also be responsible for working closely with the bank’s lending team, credit analysts and special asset areas.
“Joseph’s depth of experience in managing credit along with his decades of working in community banking will support our continued focus on strong credit quality,” said First Farmers Chairman and CEO T. Randy Stevens.
Yaroszewski worked for BB&T/Truist Bank where he most recently served as a regional credit officer. His experience also includes small business loan administration and commercial banking roles with Lexington State Bank, RBC and First Citizens Bank.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Longwood College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Yaroszewski also holds RMA’s Credit Risk Certification.
