Ed Theis brings over 35 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on commercial real estate and commercial & industrial clients. He has spent the past 6 years at First Farmers and Merchants Bank, where he leverages his deep industry knowledge to support the growth and success of business clients across the region.

Ed holds a B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Augustana College. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for strategic insight, relationship-driven service, and a deep understanding of the financial needs of developers, builders, and business owners.

He is an active member of several industry organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP), and the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee (HBAMT). Ed also gives back to the community through his volunteer work with My Friend’s House Family & Children’s Services, a group-care facility that supports at-risk male youth.
