When you open a First Farmers checking account, you will receive a Visa® debit card. First Farmers debit cards can be used anywhere Visa® is accepted around the world. Personal debit cards can be used at ATMs and to make purchases directly from your checking account.
Instant Issue Debit Cards
First Farmers has been around for over a century, so we know a thing or two about the value of time. Our Instant Issue Debit Cards are the essence of time efficiency, visit a branch and leave with an activated debit card featuring EMV secure chip technology.
EMV Chip Technology
The security of your data is our highest priority at First Farmers. Now, all new First Farmers Visa® cards feature new EMV chip technology. That new chip on the front of your card provides a much higher level of protection against data theft and fraud than the old magnetic strip cards. Merchants and financial institutions are adding new in-store technologies and processing systems, requiring customers to insert their card rather than the traditional swipe and pay method. When it comes to the security of customer’s data, First Farmers is here.
If your Visa debit card is lost or stolen, call 800-236-2442 immediately or, if during banking hours, you may call First Farmers at 800-882-8378.
Issuance of a debit card is subject to approval.
Contactless Payments with Tap to Pay
Contactless payments are fast and convenient to use in places where you need to pay on the go, such as fast-food restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores and more. Contactless payments are secure because just like a chip card, each transaction is accompanied by a one-time security code that protects your payment information. Unlike cash, you can keep better records of your purchases with your contactless card. You can still do everything you would do with a non-contactless card, including leaving a tip.
We will automatically update your card at its expiration with the new feature. You may also visit us at one of our locations to purchase a new contactless card prior to renewal. Call us at 800.882.8378 to learn more.

Peace of mind is in your hands – the Card Suite Lite mobile app is available for First Farmers customers to give you the ability to control how, when and where your debit cards are used.
