Brentwood, TN – First Farmers celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch located at 5020 Harpeth Drive off Franklin Road in Brentwood on November 7. It is the bank’s fifth location in Williamson County and 22nd branch in Middle Tennessee.
The new office offers customers a complete array of financial services ranging from personal and business banking, to mortgage lending, treasury management, commercial banking, and wealth management. The location in Brentwood’s busy retail and business district will be convenient for both consumers and business owners.

In addition, First Farmers announced that Michael A. Jones has joined the bank as Business Banking Relationship Manager, and Rachel Cooksey has been promoted to Branch Manager of the new Brentwood office.
Michael has over 15 years of business banking experience. He will work with small businesses, assisting them with their banking needs, including lending, depository, and treasury management.
Prior to joining First Farmers, Michael served as vice president of commercial banking for First Citizens Bank. Prior to that, Michael was the business banking and private client and wealth manager at US Bank after holding senior-level positions at National City Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and Citibank in Chicago. He was selected to be part of Fifth Third Bank’s Emerging Leaders Group and served as a Business Banking Mentor when working at both National City Bank and US Bank. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University in Business Administration and Management.
As manager of the Brentwood location, Rachel Cooksey will oversee daily operations and the growth strategy of the branch in addition to working with clients to design banking options and advise customers on financing. Rachel, who joined First Farmers in April 2017 as an assistant branch manager, will bring her passion for helping customers to the role of Brentwood branch manager. Prior to joining the First Farmers team, Rachel owned an All State insurance agency and served as an assistant branch manager for Regions Bank.
