First Farmers Names Colby Flint Regional Credit Officer

Today, First Farmers announced the hire of Colby Flint who will serve as Regional Credit Officer for the bank. In his new role, Flint will work closely with the bank’s relationship managers and will oversee the banks’ overall credit administration and credit risk management.

Flint is a veteran financial service professional with over 22 years of experience in underwriting, portfolio risk management, lending, credit analysis and auditing. Most recently Flint served as Senior Vice President/Credit Advisor with Pinnacle Financial Partners. Prior to his work with Pinnacle, he served as Senior Credit Underwriter and Vice President with Regions Bank. Flint began his career as a loan specialist for the USDA’s Farm Service Agency.

A graduate of Northeast Louisiana University, Flint earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Commercial Banking and his Masters degree in Business Administration. Colby is an active community volunteer, currently serving on the Board of Directors of Journey’s in Community Living. Journey’s in Community Living provides community participation opportunities, job training and placement services, residential services and transportation to more than 120 adults with intellectual disabilities in both Rutherford and Cannon Counties in Middle Tennessee. Flint will be based at the Berry Farms financial center scheduled to open later this fall in southern Williamson County.
