LEWISBURG, Tenn. – Today, First Farmers announced the promotion of Race Wilson to the position of Assistant Branch Manager at the bank’s Lewisburg branch located at 206 N. Ellington Parkway. In his new role, Wilson will serve as a loan officer as well as oversee the day to day operations of the branch.
Wilson, a Lewisburg native, began his banking career as a personal banker with Regions Bank. He later joined the First Farmers team in 2014 where he served as a Credit Analyst until his recent ascent to the role of Assistant Branch Manager.
“We are pleased to announce the promotion of Race Wilson to the position of Assistant Branch Manager at our Lewisburg office. We believe his experience and commitment to customer service will be a tremendous asset to our bank and most importantly to our customers,” said T. Randy Stevens, Chairman and CEO of First Farmers and Merchants Bank. “As First Farmers continues to grow across the region, it is important that we have the right leadership in place who understand each of our markets and are deeply involved in the communities we serve.”
Marshall County Senior Banking Executive, Barbara Capps, echoed Mr. Stevens’ sentiments and added, “We are so happy to have Race in the Lewisburg office. His experience, enthusiasm and local knowledge will serve our customers well.”
Wilson is a 2012 graduate of Tennessee Tech University where he earned his degree in Finance. He is also active in the community, currently serving as an advisory member to the Lewisburg Community Development Board.
