COLUMBIA, Tenn.—First Farmers has named Shelda Qualls as business development coordinator for its Hickman County region. Qualls will be tasked with developing new business with prospective customers in addition to working with current First Farmers clients.
A Centerville native, Qualls is deeply committed to the Hickman County community. Prior to joining First Farmers, she worked for Hickman County Schools as both a guidance counselor and a teacher for 19 years.

Randy Stevens, Chairman and CEO of First Farmers. “First Farmers not only supports the local community, but our team is also made up of people who value this community as their home. We’re thrilled to enrich this commitment and our local First Farmers branches with Shelda on board.”
Qualls will enhance the causes that First Farmers supports in Hickman County, including local schools, professional groups, law enforcement departments and other community organizations.
“It’s an honor to join the team at First Farmers and to continue to serve our community,” said Qualls. “It’s exciting to be able to help my former students who are now citizens of the community and to keep guiding them through this new role.”
First Farmers has been a part of the Hickman County community since 1991. With two locations in Hickman County at 9512 Highway 46, Bon Aqua and 116 Church Street, Centerville, Tenn.
