At First Farmers, serving our neighbors is central to who we are, and we’re committed to investing in the people and organizations that strengthen our communities Giving Tuesday is more than a single day on the calendar—it reflects a spirit of generosity that guides our work all year long. This year, we’re proud to highlight several meaningful contributions made across the counties we call home. Each partnership represents a shared mission to uplift families, expand opportunities, and create lasting, positive change.
Below, we share the impact of these efforts across Middle Tennessee:
Davidson County: Pathway Lending
In Davidson County, we continued our commitment to expanding access to affordable housing through a $1 million donation to Pathway Lending. This investment will help acquire and renovate an apartment building to ensure long-term affordability for local residents. The Pathway Housing Fund plays a vital role in preserving housing stability and preventing displacement, and we’re honored to support their mission. With this partnership, we look forward to seeing meaningful, lasting change as more families gain access to safe, attainable homes. To learn more about Pathway Lending, visit pathwaylending.org.
Maury County: Harvest Share Food Pantry
Meanwhile, in Maury County, our team and community came together to make a tangible difference through Harvest Share Food Pantry. Together, we collected nearly 700 non-perishable food items to help stock their shelves during the busy holiday season, providing hundreds of families with ingredients for a warm, joyful Christmas meal. In addition, we proudly contributed $1,000 toward their Hustle for Harvest Share 5K to further support their mission of fighting hunger. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside Harvest Share as they continue to uplift local families every day.
Williamson County: Franktown Open Hearts
Over in Williamson County, we proudly invested $1,000 in the transformative programs of FrankTown Open Hearts. This organization provides at-risk youth with a safe, encouraging environment filled with opportunities—from tutoring and mentoring to vocational training, leadership development, and hands-on skill building. Their commitment to empowering young people aligns deeply with our values, and we’re honored to support programs that help students grow, thrive, and envision brighter futures.
Giles County: Rural Food Delivery
In Giles County, our efforts focused on combating food insecurity through a $500 donation to Community Rural Food Delivery. Serving an average of 550 families each month—and another 300 weekly through pop-up events—Community RFD ensures that anyone in need can access fresh produce and essential staples without barriers or paperwork. By supporting their work, we’re helping ensure that families across Giles County and surrounding areas have reliable access to nutritious food and ongoing support.
Hickman County: Habitat for Humanity Carter Rural Rally
In Hickman County, we were honored to contribute $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury in support of the first national Rural Rally initiative, part of the 2025 Carter Work Project. Our sponsorship helped fund essential home repairs for a local veteran, ensuring safer and more comfortable living conditions. The project concluded with a meaningful dedication ceremony on October 27, celebrating the strength of community partnerships in revitalizing rural neighborhoods and honoring those who have served our country.
Lawrence County: South Lawrence Food Pantry
In Lawrence County, our mission to fight food insecurity continued with a $250 donation to the South Lawrence Food Center. Serving 75–100 residents each month, the center partners with Second Harvest, the USDA, and local donors to provide nutritious meals through weekly Thursday distributions. We’re grateful to support an organization that consistently shows up for individuals and families who need it most.
Marshall County: The Potters House Marshall
And in Marshall County, we extended support to The Potter’s Hand with a $100 donation to their thrift store and ministry. By offering affordable goods and reinvesting proceeds into outreach efforts, The Potter’s Hand meets both practical and spiritual needs within the community. Their dedication to service reflects the heart of what Giving Tuesday represents, and we’re proud to support their ongoing work.
At First Farmers, we believe that strong communities are built through consistent care, meaningful partnerships, and a shared commitment to lifting one another up. The organizations highlighted here embody that every day, and we’re honored to support their missions across Middle Tennessee. In 2025, we’re proud to share the impact we made together: over $120,000 in donations and sponsorships, reaching seven counties, supporting more than 100 organizations, and logging 110+ volunteer hours. These numbers represent more than statistics—they reflect lives touched, communities strengthened, and hope shared. Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference this year. Here’s to continuing this mission in the year ahead!
